Turn the coulour off completely and you should see a perfect balck and white picture, this is made up by mixing red green and blue,, if it is not balck and white you may have lost a primary colour, if this is the case you will obviously never have a watchable colour picture, loss of a primary colour will need a visit from a techie.

I have way too much redness in my 60in philips magnavox television...I need to know how to adjust the color and brightness so that the picture shows better!!

Can you give me a model number, if this is a rear projection set you may have a crt/picture tube problem with the liquid. Is the picture cloudy looking and you can't adjust color or tint to make better or pull up menu and if see a glow or hallow around letters and people in picture?

Im trying to install this product in my 2000 saville but the colors dont match and there are a whole bunch more wires left on the caddies harness

If you don't know what you're doing, you're much better off taking it to a shop. You can do untold damage to the car, even setting off the air bag, if you don't know what to do in there, particularly if you don't have the right tools.

The stitch on the bottom of the material is very loose and is bunching and looks terrible, the top thread keeps skipping and breaking, Ive fiddled with the tension and still having problems

Let me give you a general lesson on adjusting tension that will work for any machine. I suggest you thread the top of the machine with a different color thread than the bottom so that it's easier to see what adjustments you need to make.

Thread your machine with the presser foot UP. The disks that control the tension (threadgoes through them) are tightened up if the foot is down. Change the machine tension with the presser foot DOWN.Because the disks won't be engaged (see above) if the foot is up, the diskswon't move. Start at the middle setting, 3. Go up to tighten, decrease toloosen. Each machine is different, even 2 different machines of the same model. The best thing to do is start at 3 and use a different color in the top andbobbin thread so you can easily see what changes to the tension do to yourstitches. Now use a straight stitch a sew 3 or so inches. Take a lookat the top and bottom of the fabric. You don't want to see any (or at least notmuch) of the other color showing from the other side. Loops on the bottom of the fabric means you need to tighten(increase) your top tension. If you're stitches on the bottom are causingpuckering, then you need to loosen you're top tension. For the most part, youreally don't want to touch your bobbin tension-leave that to a repairtechnician. The factory setting shouldn't be touched except by someone whoreally knows what they're doing. Keep sewing a few inches at a time until you have the resultsyou want. Now you're tension is where you need it!

Photoshop and the R1800

I had the same problem and read everything I could find about it. Finally after tinkering around, I discovered that printing everything using "Photo Enhance" setting produced the best pictures. Also, I use a calibrated monitor and print through Photoshop Elements 5. Lots of Luck! Cyndy

How to use buttons on front of Monitor for vertical Horizontal settings

Oldie, The first thing to do is set the monitor resolution, color depth and monitor refresh rate to what you want then adjust the monitor accordingly. Adjust resolution, color depth and refresh rate for Windows 2000/XP: -Right click any clear spot on your desktop and select properties from the menu that appears. -From the Display Properties box that appears click on the Settings tab. -In the screen resolution section (lower left corner) experiment with the resolutions and see what you like. -The color quality box should be set to the highest (most colors) color setting listed. -Click on the advanced button in the lower right corner. -In the next window click on the monitor tab. -Typically you would want to set it at 70 Hertz or better. The higher the setting the less flicker you will notice, however, there is always a trade off. I would start with 70 Hertz and gradually move up; at some point your monitor will reach a setting it can?t support. If the screen blanks out Windows will reset back to the previous settings as long as you don?t hit any keys. -click the OK button twice. More to follow?.

Projection t.v.

When you say Main color setting, Do you mean your trying to make the colors look better as there are no main color settings but there are main screen controls and this would give the set its B & W settings so then the colors look better. And theres main focus control that would sharpen up the picture. Ok first thing your gonna need to do is Get a service manual so we can find where all the adjustments are. You should ba able to find a service manual if you look in your user manual for a service station for hitachi. Now if your a tech or experienced with tv repair we can go over this but I need to know exactly you are trying to do first Thanks
