I recently bought a Vizio television Model Number Vizio e370vl and I have been experiencing a buzzing background noise whenever I have sound coming through the tv speakers. Be it my satellite reciever through HDMI or Xbox 360 through the Comp input. I searched through here and other forums and tried changing the back light to 100 as some people stated that was an issue, along with checking all of my cables and connections. I had gotten a replacement reciever thinking that was the problem but still having the same issues. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what might solve the problem before I go ahead and call Vizio Tech Support?

Exact same problem, buzz was not overwhelming but non theless there. Tried antenna, dish, dvd, another persons house and buzz remained.Complained to Vizio, tech cam out and replaced mainboard I think it was. Bahm, its fixed. Would have tried returning to Walmart but figured another new onemight buzz as well. Tell support line you always have the buzz no matter whatthe input (dish, antenna, dvd player). Windings in power supply coils have air gapsthat create the buzz I read somewhere. Good Luck

Loud buzzing noise on vizio tv

It sound like you may have sound processor problem which is part of the main board, I would also look at the 12vdc from power supply to make sure it is clean DC.

Vizio Speaker Making a Buzzing Noise

My 32" vizio I bought a week ago does the same things.

Buy an external sound system for the tv. Turn the speakers off in the TV menu. Hook the sound system up to the out speaker hookups on the tv.

You will not only have better found, you will fix the speaker buzz problem.
