Cant access sound, i lost the original disk where can I download all the utility driver for my laptop.

Two seperate issues. You can order new disks on ebay for example but if your product key is unreadable you need to purchase a new key.

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. If you can locate the model number (and version) from the motherboard, you can go to the mainboard manuafacturer's website and download the chipset, video, network, audio, and RAID drivers as well as many utilities that may have been on the original install disk. They won't have the same level of self-install that the original disk had, but they usually are fairly easy to setup

go to the device manager (right click my computer - properties - hardware tab - device manager button)

look under sound devices, if there are any yellow question marks you need the approprate sound driver device driver, go to the manafacturers website for it, or find the original utility disks that came with the laptop to re-install the driver

if it has its drivers, check the sound devices in sound options (control panel - sounds and audio devoces) and make sure the playback device is set to the default and hasent been changed to something that is no longer connected to the laptop.

you should be able to hit f11 on the bios start screen (before windows loads) and access the on board recovery partition. just follow the prompts to recover your laptop to its original factory setting. keep in mind that all data or software that you have installed will be lost so do backups on data if needed. It is not possible to back up software so you may want to gather up some original installation cds for purchased programs such as microsoft office.

If you have formatted the hard-Drive you,ve deleted all information from the computer.
your only other option, is to install an operating system ( Windows/Linux ) and check the device manager, to see which drivers need to be downloaded/updated. With Laptops it,s usually VGA ( graphics ) Sound And sometimes LAN/Network drivers.
a recovery cd will have all of this information, and reinstall your original operating system, including authentic product key. so sometimes worth the money.

you need the drivers for those devices marked with yellow --"yellow"ethernet
controller will not allow to access the web to download drivers to solve your problem--options are:- use the "original" driver disk that came with the laptop or download to another pc/laptop and transfer drivers using usb key.
