I have downloaded the rockbox into my sansa but when i turned it on to reboot it says 'Load image failed. Switch to recovery mode'
I would like to know how to fix this and maybe try to fix the download again.
Windows Recovery Mode:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
You may have to try it with the installation CD installed. If you no longer have the installlation CD, then download the Sansa Recovery Tool from Sandisk's website.
To force the found new hardware wizard, go to Start --> Control Panel --> Printers & Other Hardware --> Add Hardware
(with your mp3 player connected to computer, of course)
Make sure installation CD is inserted
If it is not inserted, go to manual instead of automatic detection and install generic MTP device under windows devices or portable devices - the wording varies by computer

Ok , Its still black , ive downloaded the recovery but when i try to clik it back in the found new hardware wizard doesnt pop up ..

Ok , it didnt seem to work because nothing is poping up and nothing is downloading.
How do i fix this ?
Is seems to be getting worse and worse as we go
