Fixing the "Error Printing" message on Windows 10

Take a look at the Printer's paper tray.
Check the Printer cable.
Disconnect and Reconnect the Printer device.
Run the Printer Troubleshooter.
Update the USB driver software.
Disable and Re-enable the Print Spooler service.
Verify your printer port settings.

First thing to do is reload the drivers from hp.com. Sounds like the PCL drivers are hosed.

Please uninstall the current PCL driver and upgrade the same with UPD PCL5 (dont install PCL6) from http://www.hp.com/go/upd

It is a driver error, try another printer driver version or use PCL 5 rather then PCL 6 driver,

Check your USB cable it must be HighSpeed or USB 2 cable.
