RMS stands for Root Mean Square, this is an average output and is basically the maximum power before the amplifier start distorting. It is the only really true indication of power output. Contrary to PMPO which is Peak Music Power Output and that is the power output just before the speakers disintegrate and the amplifier goes up in a cloud of smoke. Not quite sure what you mean by speaker output, but this is tied to the power of the amplifier and number of decibels the speakers can deliver at a set input. Just as important is the impedance of the speakers and the watt rating. The impedance must match the impedance requirement ot the amplifier and wattage must exceed the maximum output of the amplifier. If the impedance is low the amplifier will be damaged and if the watts are low the speaker will be damaged.
An RMS power value is referred to as the real music power output of a speaker
