You cant d the firmware upgarede yourself for s40 phont, ie 6230i, So you have to take it shop, they use to flash the new firmware with special software at minimal cose...
Try resetting the phone to factory setting if it doesnt work try taking it for flashing
remove the memory card and try it work's properly. after u just insert
the memory card i likely to be working.. better u need to format the
memory card..
Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
