I need code number for a Panasonic tv - Panasonic Televison & Video

I would go online to TIVO (remote) and look up all codes for a Panasonic TV and try each one out. One will usually work if the your remote or TV isn't too old.

Google search may be easier.

Google the model number for the remote and try all Panasonic codes listed

the panasonic numbers are one of the following

0051, 0250, 0055and to program it you need to do

Turn on the component that you want to set up.
Press and release the component key you would like to configure. The red LED will blink once.
Press and hold the "Setup" key until the red LED blinks twice, then release.
Enter the first 4-digit code number for the device you are trying to program. The LED will blink one on each digit entered, except for the last digit where it will blink twice to confirm that a valid code has been programmed.
Now test the code by pressing the "Power" key. If the component turns off, you've got the right code. Follow the same instructions to set up your other components. If the component doesn't turn off, return to step 3 and use the next 4-digit code listed.

Not sure if you're asking for universal remote codes for a panasonic tv, or a direct tv set-top-box, but here are both:

Your Direct TV reciever can be made by any number of companies. You may also have a combo reciever/DVR or other combo device. Whatever you have, you should be able to find the code you need here:

Each remote has its own set of codes and supports only a very limited number of tv models. If your tv isn't listed then your only option is to try all the other codes listed for the manufacturer (Panasonic in your case) in the hope one of them will work. If none of them work that the remote isn't supporting it, simple as that.

model number of your emote should be under the battery lid. Search google for

universal remote codes your_model_remote

Remote should come with a sheet containing the codes. If yours is not on there, contact the 800 number for the remote manufacturer.

I have the manual.  The code number should be 14 for samsung.
You need to hold down TV button on remote and enter the code.Good luck.
