I am not able to turn my fan or light on anymore. Everything worked great with the remote and now it does not do anything. I have replaced the batteries in the remote and I have tested the power at the fan. There is no override to turn the fan on. Is it possible the receiver for the remote is bad at the fan? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It is certainly possible that the remote went bad -- after all, it is an electronic device, and is was "made in China". With that said, there are other possibilities:
* The receiver, which is what receives the signals sent by the remote control, could have died. In most remote-controlled fans, the receiver is located in the ceiling canopy (the decorative part up by the ceiling, which hides the wires). In other fans, it's located in the switch housing (the part of the fan to which the light kit attaches). Solution: try everything else on this list; if nothing works, replace the receiver. Universal replacements for most models are available at Home Depot and Lowes.
* A wire on that receiver could have come loose. Solution: check all wires for secureness.
* A wire in your wall or ceiling -- the wire which provides power to the fan -- could have come loose or been chewed through by a rodent. Solution: use a circuit tester to check whether there's power at the connections at the top of the fan, in the ceiling, where the fan connects to the building's wiring.
* A circuit breaker could have tripped or a fuse could have blown. Solution: check your circuit breaker or fuse panel.
* The DIP switches inside the remote control -- which set the frequency on which the control transmits -- could have been knocked out of position accidentally or by a child playing with it. Solution: check the code on the DIP switches on the receiver in the fan -- then, make sure the remote control has its DIP switches set the exact same way.
If none of the above work, then yes -- the problem is with the receiver or the transmitter (remote). The two are typically sold as a pair, and universal replacements are available at Home Depot and Lowe's.

Remote control part #85094-02, Hunter Fan Co. stopped working after falling on tile floor.
It doesn't turn on not light nor fan. After inspecting circuit board there is no damage of components.
Pressing down any button lights up the red led, and no function either.

remote works for light, but not fan
Well this is a very similar problem, I'm not sure I understand everthing that is happening.
I installed 3 swithches in three locations, by the door as I enter the room and then on each side of the bed I have a switch for the light and the fan. So there are a 3-way switch by the door and a 3 way switch on the left side of the bed and a 4-way switch on the right side of the bed. I can say with some certainty that all of the wiring is correct. But after connecting the remote I can not do anything with the remote unless first I turn the light switch on. Then I can use the remote as it is intended. The fan switch now never works. If I have the fan and lights on, and turn the light switch off both the light and fan turn off.
i've had two remote controll ceinling fans stop working after kids pulled chain instead of using remote ii dont know fix yet but i know this happen with both fans
Hooked everything up all tested and worked good later tried to turn off light with remote had to use pull cord then later turned off fan with remote now nothing works tried replacing battery no luck
