Yes, TV's have an internal fuse on the power supply. All too often though more damage is caused besides a blown fuse or the fuse doesn't serve the purpose and the power supply is damaged. I realize this is an old question, but if anyone else has the same query, from page 6 of the manual listed below, the fuse holder is located on the back panel between the power on switch and power socket. For use on 120v supply, 5 amp/250v. For use on 240v, 2.5 amp/250v.

Too many possibilities to predict if the fuse replacements will make the set function again but I suspect your main power supply has failed so if the fuses blow after replacement, you may have to have the supply repaired or replace it.
You might check, using your model number, at the site below to see if they have a power supply 'pull' available from their stock. They part out retired sets of all kinds.

If your plug points are getting power, then follow as listed below.

Open the back cover carefully. identify the screws with a torch light, remove them.
You may have to remove two screws holding the audio video socket panel. This
is in the back panel. TV weight is on the front side. Hence guard it. By chance
by applying pressure on the screw driver it may fall off!!

Follow the power wire and check the fuse. It may have a small cover where the
fuse is secured. Remove the cover and take the fuse out.
Just view fuse in light. If the wires are parted apart, replace it. same type and rating.

i had the same proble..there is a 120v 4 amp fuse below where the power cable connects to the circuit board chances are this is blown

HI, this unit has 3 main fuse links on the main board that may be blown. the fuse links should be check before you move further into the diagnosis stage. once you have checked the fuses and they are still in a working state, this will confirm a power supply board failure. this board provides and regulates the current flow and distribution of it throughout the entire unit. If the fuses are fine and the power supply board is damaged, the green light will come on briefly then, the main control will notice that the power supply is not functioning properly. Once the main control board senses an abnormal current, it will shut down the TV rendering the red light warning. The list of fuses to check are below. Remember, if they are fine and working, the issue will be the power supply board itself and, it will need to be replaced.
