SOURCE: Where do I get a cylinder head for a clarke champ

This company in liquidation in the US, however many of the same compressors are available in the UK re-branded with different model numbers/names (alpha name instead). Go down the list opening manuals until you find similar looking parts. You may find same pump/motor components on a different tank, however use manual information as needed. China made compressor as yours will be sold by many different retailers under different names. Look on ebay first "searching pancake" compressor for likeness. The manuals listed below should clue you in. Good luck.

Bostitch AB-9048025 What's it made of?

Bostitch calls the AB-9048025 a non-return valve, most compressor companies call then tank check valves. All the check valves I've worked with are brass with a spring loaded, plastic valve to hold the air in the tank when the pump shuts off. Many are interchangeable with a little line re-routing. You can find the AB-9048025 on sites like www.ereplacementparts.com. Also, on that site, you can put "tank check valve" in the parts search box and get a list of valves available and most have pictures of them so you can see what you'd be working with.

I have the clark 4 gallon compressor Model #AC2001B. When I pull the on switch the compressure attempts to start. It runs slowly for a few seconds then stops. I do not know why this occurs. Thanks

Hi I know these need to be very high powered so try plugging it in direct to the mains not an extension lead or use the mains from the house not a garage or outhouse hope this works!

My air comp. ac2001b will run fine shut off then wont start up under pressure but will if you drain air out of it

There is a differential between the shut-off and start pressures of about 20 psi and these pressures are adjustable on some switches. What the switch must do as well is relieve the pressure on the compressor head so that the motor does not try start against a load. You shoud hear the pressure relieving when the compressor shuts off, if not you need to rectify this problem, otherwise check the pressure that the motor cuts in at and set it or replace the switch.

I need to know if you can replace a clarke lead with a tweco or some other brand and make it work. If not then if anyone knows where I can get replacment parts for a 130EN that would help. Since Clarke...

There are many different welding leads available. Usually leads in machines like the Clarke are generic Italian made. Check with www.weldingdirect.com they have a buch of different leads. The part you need to be concerned with is insode the welder, where it connects to the machine. If you have other questions email me at [email protected]
