I bought the 42inches tv in US for personal use in Nigeria but on getting to Nigeria i discover tha the tv is not showing picture so i contacted a local tv repairer who told me that we are using three band in nigeria while US is using single band and all my effort to get three band panel is proving abortive pls advice.

why mess with it, it is still probably under the manufacturer's warranty, call an authorized station or contact lg's customer service number to get a list of servicers tha can help repair it for you under the warranty.

You may be able to obtain CDs from Mercedes to get the Nav working, The phone is probably a difference in polarity, Clock ? Sorry not sure there. TV is most likely a difference in broadcast signal analog/digital Contact Mercedes Stuttgart with the VIN# and ask them to advise on getting things sorted out Bestof Luck To You

This is not a simple question to answer without looking at it, my recommendation is to call a service center in your area. That's my professional opinion.

Symptoms are not related,what you hear is the high voltage turning on and that is normal if it only does it for less than a second,the grainy picture might be intermitant,dont turn it off,when the picture is grainy tap the side of the set to see if it racts and if it does you know you have a loose conection.This could be outside because of a loose ground on tha cable or inside in the tuner.
