Hi,
Disconnect the LCD-Board from the main board and see if the back lights stay on, if they stay on then the LCD board needs to be replaced not the inverters. If the back lights continue to shut down then its the power supply board not supplying the 24 volts needed to drive the inverter boards. In that case your'd need to fix or replace the power board.

Hi,
Did you replaced both back light inverter boards in your Dynex 37 inch tv?
What is model number of this tv?
Does power supply board provide correct voltages to back light inverter boards?
Let me know above info to diagnose problem.
Thanks.
Yes, 37 inch and above lcd tv has 2 back light inverter boards, other board should be changed as that board could be cause of problem. Other back light inverter board would be installed at other side of lcd panel. (not in middle of panel)
Thanks.
Middle section contains power supply and main boards and yes, this tv has one back light inverter board. Please check 24V supply at back light inverter board coming from power supply board.
I did not got any intimation about your updated post (due to little problem in site's email system) so I was not aware of that new post.
Thanks.

Well the model # is DX-lcd37. As for the rest of the question, I replaced the one inverter board that's on the side of back panel. I think there is another "board" in the middle of the tv but I didn't mess with that yet. Is this also a backlight inverter board? The serial number of my model is E377AZNK2WBYNN I think anyway! I don't know if that helps.
Well my model is dx-lcd37 and the serial number is E377AZNK2WBYNN I think! I replaced just the one backlight on the side of the back panel. I didn't mess with anything in the middle yet although it looks like there is another board there. Is that the other backlight "board" your talking about?
Hi again! Just opened the tv again and it definitely doesn't have two backlights. At least not that we can find. I have a pic if you want to see what we are seeing. If you want my opinion I think Dynex put only one in and tried to get away with equiping the insides of this model 37" tv with 32" parts. But I don't know what's wrong in order to fix it. What's the panel in the middle? Is this the power supply? Is that the problem?
I'm trying to fix my 37" dynex lcd tv. I replace the backlight inverter. It only has one! But it still doesn't show a pic. should I also replace the power supply board? If you look in my past comments you'll see a pic I sent.
The connection are all good. Is there a voltage check I can do? Some device that checks whether it's receiving the correct voltage? We might have something like that but I'll have to wait til tonight to check.
So I just got the power supply board and installed and no luck. The backlight still goes off. When I first turn on the I get the "please wait..." message on for no more that a second then the black screen again. But the power light is still green. I don't know what to do! What next?
