Blue light leaking from the corner and now is running across the screen...is this a light engine issue?

could be a head gasket leak we had one of those in the garage it was leaking barely on the back outside corner of the engine the owner wanted something fast fixed it with blue devil the truck went across the country i was surprised

This is optic unit (light engine) problem, it has 3 color lcds and blue lcd along with related UV filters became defective and causing blue mark on front screen.
Need to replace optic unit (light engine) to resolve the issue.

tell them that you heard it needs a new light engine and is very expensive, they may decide to do something to help. they will want model #, serial #, and date of purchase. if you don't know date of purchase, make a good guess.

catually is problum is related with blue lcd & blue polizer but first you clean the optical unit if the problum gon then ok other wise must chang blue lcd & blue polorize with uv filter plese contect to your nearst sony service centre

Light Engine

You need a new light engine.

This is a Optics engine failure, Call sony to see if the warranty they extended on this model is still in effect.
If not then the the only way to resolve this issue is to have the optics engine replaced..

You have a Bad Light Engine This is a high dollar part Call UED they may have a rebuilt one in stock 1-800-648-6657.

Probably a bad light engine. Not uncommon on these units.
