Make sure to check all the seals(o-rings) on the internals, power tube etc.. also check the seal on top of your c02 tank and make sure its all oiled well.. sounds to me like theres a seal gone inside the gun.. that would be my first guess

One.. dirty...

Two.. no lube/wrong lube...

Three.. no air...

or any combination of the above. Make sure you have a full tank, clean the marker and use paintball-specific oil to lube the internals. The 98 is a very dependable marker and I'm sure once you have the basics down you'll find it very reliable.

Good luck!

Play hard, play safe, play with honor!

I have a Baikal MP-514K air rifle, new just out of the box. Before I did any reading I cocked it, taking the barrel to 90 degree angle where is stuck, how do I get it back down.

Take it to a gun shop , you have over cocked it and now it needs stripping down , if it's a spring firing gun you need to undo the spring tensioner and with the pressure of the spring against you you might not hold it when unscrewing the tension bolt ps if the spring fires out you could loose your sight or injuring others around you shop please and good luck colin

My BBs roll out of the barrel when cocking gun, what is procedure to load, ****, and fire? Model 188

On all bb guns I have seen the bb in the breech is held there by a rubber ring until it is time to fire.
If the bb's are falling out maybe the ring is worn or missing.

I attempted to put a car stock on my Tippmann 98 custom and took apart the gun but the stock didnt fit, now when i put it back together and shot it with my tank connected the gun wont stay cocked and...

Check the O rings on the big metal striker, make sure that you have the spring on the back (where the stock would have went) in the right hole on the back plate. Make sure that your velocity is set to a reasonable level.

Wont stay cocked

If you ran out of air, it won't stay cocked.
OR
The sear may have been displaced. That would require a disassemble. It is not that difficult, just do it on a white pillowcase and be sure not to let any springs fly all over the place.

Daisy Red Ryder BB gun won't shoot

1) **** the gun and look through the hole in the top, half way down the barrel.

2) You should see a BB loaded into this area.
- if no bb is present and you can see a circular magnet, then it is not loading.

3) if the bb is present and does not exit the barrel when you fire the gun, then the bb is deformed and will require the rifle to be dissasembled and rodded through the back side, forcing the bad bb out of the way.

4) If no bb or magnet is present through the hole, call daisy for a replacement. This indicates the shot tube has moved and will no longer load.
