What does a dell message mean, "a previous instance is already running mean"?

It's a generic Windows message, and is exactly what is says. For instance if you execute a game twice, you would get that error for the second instance.

If you don't see a second. Check Task Manager and kill (stop) there.

Keeps saying message not sent but i didn't try send one

Although I don't believe my user dictionary was flushed, my phone also keeps notifying me, "message not sent" when i didn't send a message. When I press the notification, im taken to a blank text message. No name or number in the To: slot and no message in the message section. Its driving me nuts(Not to say I wasn't already there to begin with) Any suggestions would be great.

I would do a CTRL-ALT-DEL and look at the processes running. If you can identify the process associated with that program, terminate it and you'll be OK.
Sometimes a program stops running and you can't see it on the task bar, but it's process is still running.

The thermistor has gone bad. Replace it. It's a relatively cheap part.

I just got mine yesterday and after sending one message it told me that and i couldnt write any other messages. what ive noticed is that when you open up a new message to reply to one and then another message comes in ignore it bc it seems to be when u try doing 2 things at once it messes up. if you turn off or take the battery out it fixes it...but that can be kind of annoyingso if u figure it out let us know

okay, i had this problem too. i thought it was a glitch in the software but i just found out. if you already have a "new message" open or the keyboard area is open that's the problem. all you have to do is press the task button on the side of the phone and exit out of the message task. then problem fixed!
