Suddenly the pictures I take with my Lumix DMC-ZS3 have dark, shadowy, relatively circular spots on them. The spots are more noticeable when I zoom in. The spots are always in the same places on my images. This is my favorite camera of all time and I very distressed over this issue. I suspect dust has collected somewhere inside the lens where I can not get at it. I have gently cleaned the outside surface of the lens and have blown it off with compressed air but the problem persists, What can be done? Can I mail it back to Panasonic for professional cleaning? Is this possibly being caused by something else? My photos now look terrible.

I was thinking along the lines of some kind of fungus if you were in a warm, humid climate.

Try checking your settings or menu for a vibration sensor or changing the focus. You might also be using the wrong setting, like indoor, when you're at the beach. You can also change the quality of the pictures and if you are taking still photography or movement.

This is due to a damaged made to the reflectors or to the lence inside. This is difficult to repair.
