Hi, if you check your local outdoor shop you will find self-adhesive gore-tex patches for shell garments - you might even get the right colour. As they are made for outer shell garments they stick well and are not affected by rain etc.

My 2012 wall air condioner is leaking. How do I fix this and repair the drywall?

It sounds like the drain line is plugged where it goes outdoors, so water is backing up inside the unit until it spills over indoors. Clear the drain line.

You may need to cut a section out of the drywall where it's been damaged, then get a matching piece of new drywall to replace it. If you can cut down the centers of two studs, all the better - then you can screw the new patch directly to the studs on both sides. If not... at least leave yourself a couple of inches of drywall to stitch to - you can do that by screwing small pieces of plywood to the existing drywall, overlapping the hole. Then you can screw the new drywall patch to the plywood.

Next is your adventure in taping & mudding & sanding the drywall to finish the patch. Last, paint it to match the rest of the wall... or repaint all of that wall, including the patch. No need to paint adjacent walls, if your color matching is pretty close.

How can above ground pool be repaired

It sounds like the hole is relatively small. You can make a patch using a piece of sheet metal or a piece of flat aluminum which you can purchase at Lowes or Home Depot in the hardware dept. Use sheet metal if the metal surround is metal. Use aluminum if the surround is aluminum. You can tell which is which by taking a magnet and touching the metal. If the magnet sticks, it's metal not aluminum. Cut the patch using sheet metal shears to a size that is 4 inches by four inches larger than the hole. Then you'll have two inches on each side of the hole. You are going to need to put the patch on the inside of the metal, between the liner and the metal surround. This so the hole edges won't tear the liner. When you cut the patch, round off the edges so there are no sharp edges. Take duct tape and cover the edges of the patch. Place 1/2 the width of the duct tape and apply it to one side of the patch and fold the other half over to the other side. You can cut a round patch, but a square or rectangle patch will be easier. Just cut the corners round. Purchase a small tube of silicone sealant ( when you but the patch material) and apply a bead around the patch edges and in the middle. Then affix the patch over the hole. Wipe off any sealant that ozzed through the patch so it doesn't bond to the liner.

SMALL HOLE BOTTOM OF 15 x 4 metal frame pool. believe a small pebble caused it. water leaking out is there a way to save the poolwithout draining and taking it apart?

Try this....
You will need;
Pool liner patch kit
Goggles
Body weight to hold you down while doing repair under water.

Most liner repair kits have instructions on wet applications. Cut a piece of the liner kit fabric to cover the entire hole plus at least 1/2" around. You will need to dive in with a mask/goggles to see the hole. Put a thin layer of glue on the patch and spread evenly.. Fold in half on the glue side and go down to the bottom of the pool. Note...The weights will help you stay at the bottom for this part of the repair.. QUICKLY!!! while holding the patch next to the hole. open the patch and place on the hole and push firmly for a few seconds. Come up and place your foot on the patch and hold for 3 minutes or so. Should work...It took me several times to master this technique when I had a hole at the bottom of my pool... Caution!!! You don't need a lot of weight to stay at the bottom. Test from light to heavy until you think you have enough to do the repair..
Good luck and hope this will help you!! If this works for you, please rate!

Can i sew a patch on my down coat ? I have been told it will cause my jacket to leak around the stitches

Hi, try stick-on gore-tex patches designed for outer shell garments - they will withstand rain and moisture - no stitches.
I am not sure that you down jacket will be all that waterproof at the best of times. The patches should do the business, you can probably get 'em at your local outdoor shop.

How do you do small body panel repairs on rust spots?

If it's just surface rust with no holes use a grinder and clean the spot to bare shiny metal. Use some spot putty and completely cover the metal. Then sand it down smooth and put some primer on it. When you sand it down pay close attention to your edges. Sand them into the paint so that you can't feel the difference between the patch and the old paint. After the primer dries use a spray can and paint the spot because primer will absorb water and you will have to do the repair again.
If the spots have small holes in them you should get a can of body fill called "Tiger Hair". It has fiberglass in the compound and will easily fix small holes. Use this before the spot putty and sand it smooth. Then cover that with a thin layer of spot putty to fill any imperfections, primer and paint.
If you have holes bigger than 1/2 inch then you should be able to get small wire mesh patchs at your local auto parts store. These will stick to the bare metal after grinding and you can put your tiger hair over that. This will be a bigger patch. It will need to be about 3 times bigger than the hole you are filling to be relatively unnoticable.
This won't give you a show car but it should keep inspectors off your back. Hope this helps.

Drilled a small hole in a pipe while instilling a new basin

Depends what type pipe. If a drain or vent in pllastic, you can probably patch by gluing a patch made by cutting a piece of a coupling and using ABS glue.

If it is a pressure line, the only cure is to cut the damaged section and put in a spice. Almost any patch attempted will fail.
