Look in the owners manual for the directions on how to remove the lamp. Your model the lamp goes in from the front on the left looking at the TV. There is a thumb screw in the back on the corner holding the left front speaker on. Under the panel there is another thumb screw holding the lamp door on. You will need a Phillips screw driver to remove the lamp. You will most likely find that the lamp is bad. You will either have to order a lamp directly from JVC, a service center or a parts distributor.

You both will need to have a service center come out to try to reset the TV using the reset jig. A JVC authorized service center will be the only ones that will have access to and training to use this jig. It is a good chance reseting it fix the color problem but it could also be something more serious.

It normally means the lamp is in need of being replaced, and its all depending on the use of the TV as well as how long the lamp life is. You should be able to access the lamp via a small section near the rear or the back of the TV unit, if the lamp is blown or faulty it will look the same as a blown light globe.
To obtain a new lamp contact the brands authorised repair agent as they will be able to get trade prices and in turn, give you the best price,
Also make sure that whoever replaces the lamp resets the lamp use time as the TV will still not start if you don't reset the lamp use time as it will still think it has a faulty lamp. I hope this helps, good luck.
