With the bose sound system you have to bypass the audio system through the factory amp. the factory is located behind the right side of the glove box.

There is a code for color!? ok, wait im searching...
found it! here you go, hope it helps...

Wiring color codes are the identification colors that color the wires in your automobile. For example, if you have a British car the blue, blue and white , and blue and red wires are for the headlights. The red and white wires are for the instrument lights, and the green and white and green and red wires are for the turn lights. The color code simply identifies what that wire does. Could you imagine if all of the wires were the same color. You couldn't identify anything in a harness.

Hi, I have a hyundai sonata hybrid 2013. Scan test shows code " P0A2D" hybrid motor temperature sensor high.

Hyundai has a tsb on this code it is 16-at-005 basically it breaks down to this: remove air cleaner find extension motor wire disconnect and measure resistance on pins 2 and 7 which if looking at male pins top row from left over 2 and bottom from left over 2 is pin 7 resistance is 112-142 kila ohms now disconnect trans temp sensor connector measure the resistance on pin 4 top row from left and pin 8 bottom row from left should be same 112-142 kila ohms at outside temp 68 . if reading are not the same resistance replace transaxle,if they both are same resistance replace HPCU (hybrid power control unit ) next step if resistance is different by 1 ohm harness is good,if resistance on both readings are different by more than 1 ohm replace extension wire . may need to send this car to dealership if this testing is more than you can provide yourself, sorry hope it helps

Wont commnicate for inspection

Check all the fuses and I mean all the fuses. This is generally caused by the OBD II connector not having power on pin number 16. Pin 16 is the last pin on the shorter row of the connector but, you have to know the orientation. If you look at the connector on the car, READ THIS CAREFULLY, if the connector is wider at the top, the pins are numbered from left to right. The top row is numbered 1-7 and the bottom row is 8-16. If the connector is wider on the bottom, just invert the above instructions. Check to see if the connector has battery power to pin 16 and ground on pin 5. DO NOT GO PROBING AROUND THE OTHER PINS!! If the vehicle is running and the MIL light is on when the ignition is turned on and goes off when the vehicle starts, your problem is probably right there. Let me know how you make out.

My daihatsu sirion abs light was always on what is the problem and how to fix it

Hi, the light is basically telling you that there is a problem with a sensor or the sensor circuit. Find the eobd 16 pin plug and bridge the fourth pin on the top and the fifth pin on the bottom row with the ignition off. Now turn the ignition on and the light will flash and display codes. The series of first flashes indicates tens n the second series shown after a longer pause between flashes. Eg code 21 would be 2 flashes then a pause and one flash thereeon. The codes can be gotten from toyota nation. This will direct you to which sensor is faulty. Once the repair is done pump the pedal eight times and the light should blink constantly. Now turn off the key and pull out the bridging wire. Enjoy!!

When using a jumper wire to retrieve ABS trouble codes on a 2002 Trooper 4 wheel drive how is the DLC numbered? I mean which pins do I jump? And when I do jump, Will the ABS light flash te codes....

ok, there are 16 pins in the DLC you want to jump #4 and #12 as you look at the connector from left to right top row is 1-8 bottom row from left to right 9-16, both rows the 4th pin jump them together. then count the flashes all codes are 2 diget ( example flash-flash pause flash-flash = code 22 )

Need to locate door ajar curcuit on 2002 F150 Super Crew

The door ajar wire is the Black w/ Pinks tripe wire, on the SuperCrew the driver's door is solo, and the other 3 are are in the same input to the GEM.

The passenger's side kick panel ( the plastic that covers the Fuel inertia switch ) is a connector C206, right above C203. There is another smaller looking connector above C206, and some small 2 pin ones shown back there, along with 2 ground lugs in the side of the cab sheet metal.

C206 is a square 16 pin connector, 4 pins by 4 rows.
C203 is also a square 16 pin connector, 4 pins by 4 rows.

The higher of the 2 connectors is the one you want, the Black w/ Pink stripe wire is in the outside column, 2nd to the last from the side farthest from the tab.
Looking at the connector with the tab on the top, the outside column should be ( from tab end ) :
pin #1 : Dark Green w/ Orange Stripe
pin #5 : White w/ Light Green stripe
pin #9 : Black w/ Pink Stripe <- This is the one for all 3 doors
pin #13 : ( bottom ) White w/ Light Blue stripe wire

The connector is numbered on the top row, under the tab ( that is why the pin #s are spaced out reading down the column ).

The wire in the door is in a loom, it is coming from the door latch ( that is where the switch is at ), so it might not be obvious.
It should not be in the connector for the door lock switch ( that is Pink w/ Black stripe wire, not the same ).

No power to radio but fuse is ok

You will need to remove your radio to check this. They have 2 different radios for your vehicle. When you pull out your radio that is how you will tell. One will have 16 pins in the plug for the radio or it will have 7 pins for the plug in the radio. If you have the radio with the 16 pin connector the your power wires are pin # 7 a yellow with a green tracer wire and pin # 16 an orange with a black tracer. Your ground will be pin # 8 a black with a green tracer wire. If you have the 7 pin connector then your power wires are pin 1 a orange with a black tracer and pin # 3 a yellow with a green wire. Your grounds will be pin # 2 a black with ayellow tracer and pin # 6 a black wire with a green tracer if you have all of that then the radio has probably failed.
