Hi, I have a Panasonic Lumix TZ-10 (ZS-7). I've taken photos in .jpg format and after transferring to my windows 7 computer can view them no problems. But i've burnt the images to dvd and sent to my Dad who runs Vista, and he can't see them at all. Is there a special format that Panasonic uses for their .jpgs? They're not shot in raw. Thanks for any assistance! :)
oh I think I did finalist it. I forgot to mention that there were photos from another camera on there (a Canon) which could be viewed fine by him...oh I think I did finalist it. I forgot to mention that there were photos from another camera on there (a Canon) which could be viewed fine by him...

How do you normally download your photos? If you do it by connecting the camera to the computer's USB port, simply remove the memory card before making the connection.
Hi, I've the same issue: I lost my CD. From the Panasonic site you cannot download the full version, jut upgrades. That's why that version do not install.
I have this camera, and like you I have taken photos in the Hi-resolution TIFF mode. What you are experiencing is not a camera problem, but a problem with the software you are using to view the pic. Tiff is an odd format that can be configured in different ways and not all viewing software understands all the different configurations. The viewer I use is called Faststone, and can be downloaded for free from the internet- try at www.downloads.com
Faststone displays my FZ20 TIFF files perfectly. They are very big (14Mb) though, and there is little advantage over the jpg if you use the high quality compression setting.
Hi, you can transfer the files to your computer, you just can't use the camera's VideoCam editing software. However, you can still view the movies and photos taken by the camera using standard Windows programs.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ2 features an Arcsoft suite software for its video format. The best player to use to view the video format of this camera is to use the player provided also by the Arcsoft company.
Pics are about 2 per second. If action is fast, like downhill snowboarding, then may not be fast enough for you. Use MOVie mode at 640 by 480. Not bad.
