There is no clicking sound on the temp knob and the dryer does not dry. now it is not turning on at all.

Possibly a bad thermostat or a defective temperature switch

A fairly common problem! The official instructions are

Before using your dryer, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth to
remove dust from storing and shipping.
1. Load clothes loosely into the dryer and close the door. Do not
pack the dryer. Allow space for clothes to tumble freely.
2. Turn the Cycle Control knob to the recommended cycle for the type of load being dried. Use the Energy Preferred Automatic Setting (,) to dry most heavyweight and medium weight loads. See "Drying, Cycle, and Temperature Tips."
3. Select a temperature setting on models with a Temp/Fabric selector. The cycle descriptions include temperature setting suggestions.
4. Push the START button.

Stopping and Restarting
You can stop your dryer any time during a cycle.
To stop your dryer
Open the dryer door or turn the Cycle Control knob to OFE
NOTE: The Cycle Control knob should point to an Off area when
the dryer is not in use.
To restart your dryer
1. Close the door.
2. Select a new cycle and temperature (if desired).
3. Press START

It sounds as if there is a disconnect somewhere. Is this still under a warranty? If you're unsure, call and find out. If it isn't, they may be able to tell you what options you can try or how much to replace.

Take the other knob from the other switch nd put it in that place. It should turn then . You will be able to turn it on by a pair of pliers until you get a replacement knk.

While the dryer is turning slowly advance the timer knob to the end of the cycle. The dryer should stop. It sounds as if the timer motor has died or is not being powered for some reason and is not advancing the timer.

Hi. im assuming the buzz came from the timer knob(behind the knob). if so, this will confirm timer failure and, you will need to replace this timer control module in order to restore proper function to your unit.

If the buzz was located behind the start switch, replace as well.

That would be the timer assy You may need to replace entire assy and knob you could try a strong 2 part epoxy and allow to dry min 24 hrs at room temp.

It sounds like a timer problem since it happens during timed also. Some dryers don't have an actual moisture sensor for auto dry. They work by knowing that as long as the clothes are wet the temp won't go past a certain point. As the clothes dry it trips a thermostat that lets the timer advance. Until this is fixed DON"T trust the timer to shut off the dryer. Sometimes it won't or could leave the dryer running for hours. This has nothing whatsoever to do with fuses. There are no fuses in a dryer. Just high limit thermostats and other devices that will shut off the heat but usually not the motor.
