I have just bought my hp pavilion notebook and i cant sing in my windows live messenger because of an error 8e5e0247.please help me klaudio morava

Browse to the location: C:\Users\\App Data\Local\Microsoft Delete "Windows live contacts folder" completely.Note: Ensure to exit Windows live Messenger from the task manager before deleting Windows live contacts cache folder, otherwise you will get an error prompting that you can't delete the folder. Try signing into Windows Live Messenger.


2. Anyone recieving the 8E5E0247 Error trying to login to Windows Live Msgr and/or Windows Update who has an INTEL processor & Hard Drive over 700Gb must install the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Software. This will solve your problems.

2. Download the latest update version of Windows Live Messenger

Hi,

Try installing this update from HP and restart your PC and try to login again.
MSN Update

If this does not help, you need to uninstall the MSN Messenger and reinstall it.

uninstall the program, clear corrupted registry keys from your computer through reginout (http://www.reginout.com) and then reinstall the program, hopefully the problem will be resolved ,,,

Just wanted to say, i have the same problem. Just bought a new HP laptop and the messenger on it keeps giving the same freaking error 8e5e0247. The only solution i found online so far is to reinstall everything. But there must be an easier way!!!!!
