Hello, The stabiliser bar of my Quinny Zapp has snapped (at the plastic swivel part). I have a new bar to repace it but can't work out how to remove the handles/broken bar to replace the new bar. Please can you advise? Many thanks!

The bumper bar accessory simply clicks into place on the seat frame of the Quinny Zapp Xtra 2012 and 2013 model.

It is not compatible with 2011 model Quinny Zapp Xtra so please confirm the unit you have is compatible.

If you confirm it is compatible and still have difficulties please contact your retailer.

Which bar are you asking about?

The bumper bar accessory is only suitable for 2012 + 2013 model Quinny Zapp Xtra. This model will have obvious mounting points near the fold knuckles of the chassis on the seat unit itself for the bumper bar to fit into. If you have a 2011 model Quinny Zapp Xtra it will not have these mounting points as it is not compatible with the bumper bar.

Quinny cannot advise the use of non-official Quinny products with the pushchair.

The Zapp Xtra bumper bar is not compatible with the 2011 model Zapp Xtra seat unit as modifications were made for the 2012 model seat unit to be compatible with the bumper bar.

There are holes on the underside of the Quinny Zapp handlegrips which are tunnels where the screws are holding the plastic onto the chassis.

No the new Quinny Zapp Xtra sun canopy is part of the seat fabric.

If you wish to turn your standard Quinny Zapp into a Quinny Zapp Xtra you need to purchase the Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit as an accessory from your local retailer as it will have the seat frame and the adaptors required to fit it into the chassis you have.
