Unplug it. wait at least a minute to 3 or more. It may be locked in reading data. It may come back after that. This is helpful for a bunch of weird problems.

My wii says no signal

check your cables coming from the wii to your tv and make sure they are plugged in and in the right color holes.
The no signal is from the tv not the wii
also change your tv input. (maybe you are on the wrong input channel)

How do i connect my nintendo to my samsung led tv

I am assuming that you are talking about a Nintendo Wii.  When you buy a Wii it comes with standard RCA composite cables that are three colors, Red, White and Yellow.  Yellow is the cable that carries the video signal and the red/white carry the stereo audio signal.  You would need to connect these cables into the corresponding color inputs on your tv.  Plug the yellow ended cable into the yellow jack on your TV and do the same for the red and white cables.  After this is done, you will need to switch your tv's input to the input that corresponds to the one you plugged those cables into.   Some newer flat panel TVs do not come with RCA composite inputs.  If this is your problem, you will need to get some component cables for your Wii.  These cables look identical to RCA (composite) cables but come in colors red, green, blue, red and white.  In this case the red, green and blue cables carry the video signal and the red and white carry the audio.  You can purchase these from just about any store that carries the Wii or online from places such as Amazon.com.

You would hook these up the same way by matching the colors and then changing your tv to the corresponding input.

Hope that helps!

Just got the Zenith model B25A02Z for my kids and went to plug in their Nintendo Wii to it. I can't find any RCA connectors on the TV. Can't seem to plug in anything except a cable wire. How can I get...

On a TV that doesn't have any A/V inputs, you'll need an RF converter. This device takes the audio and video signals from a source such as your game, and makes a channel 3 or 4 signal that can be tuned in by the set. Converters are available in the TV accessories section of big-box retailers, at Radio Shack, and from many places online. They cost around $20.

Hooking up a converter is easy. You just plug in the A/V cables from the game, connect the output cable to the TV's antenna jack and plug in its power supply (it needs power). There's a connector on the converter to hook up your cable wire again since you have to disconnect it from the TV. It sounds like more trouble than it really is. Maybe 10 minutes.

Happy gaming, and thanks for using Fixya!

Can't find right ports of tv to connect to

What type of cable are you using? If you are using the cable supplied with the Wii, you will need to find the composite inputs on the TV. These inputs are color-coded with a red, yellow, and white plug. You will need to plug all three of these to get both sound and video.

If you are using the enhanced cables (bought separately), you will need to look for the component inputs. There will be five plugs you have to look for: red/blue/green for the video and red/white for the audio.

Once you have everything plugged in, you will need to change the input on the TV, so that the TV can look for a signal from the proper plugs. Also, check for any writing near the input you have your Wii plugged into to see if there is an input name, ie, VIDEO1, VIDEO2, etc.

Good luck.

Blurry Screen

I contacted Nintendo and they have informed me that they had never heard of this problem before. Upon our discussion it appears that it may be a problem with the video input of the television and not a problem with the WII itself. I tried hooking up the WII to another television and did not encounter the problem at all.
It would appear that the tv I was using may be developing an issue with it's video input. I changed to another tv about a month ago and this problem just started happening about 3 days ago. The tv I was using was not a new tv and perhaps it is now having a problem with the signal from the WII.
If it continues with this problem using the rear A/V inputs, I will try hooking the WII up to the front A/V inputs to see if this corrects the problem as well.

How to get wii game to work on tv i have a sylvania tv

The Wii console should have included a cable to plug into the AV Multi-out Connector. This cable has the plug for the Wii on one end, and three RCA plugs on the other. They are color-coded yellow for the video output, and red and white for right and left channel audio outputs. These plugs would go into the corresponding RCA input jacks on your TV (if it has them), and you would select that input using the TV remote or front panel buttons.

If your TV doesn't have A/V inputs, you need to get an RF converter. This device takes the A/V signals from the Wii and converts it to a signal on channel 3 or 4 so you can tune it in on your TV. These cost around $15 at Wal-Mart and other retailers.

If you have lost your Wii connecting cable or didn't get one, you can order replacements from online vendors.

Friends Nintendo Wii went off - screen turned black after previously working ok. Took our Wii and plugged it into their tv and wiring. Our Wii now wont work. When Wii is turned on screen changes from no...

  1. This happens if the wires are hooked up wrong(Video and Audio reversed)
  2. The tv is on the wrong channel
  3. The tv signal settings have been changed
  4. The signal settings on the wii have been changed
First check that all wires and connectors on the wii and tv are properly and snugly connected
and check the tv channel.
Then check the settings in both.
