I have a fugifilm finepix j20 digital camera ... i believe there is a memory card installed for extra photo storage ... but is it possible to recovery deleted photos with just the installation disk? Or do you have to buy a program to recovery deleted pictures off the camera?

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

No you don't need to buy anything all you have to do is go on settings and u have certain options and one of them is delete photos and there you go ! :) have fun with you're camera

Fugifilm finepix camera won't read memory card

Pop the card in the camera, then use the camera's menu to format the card, if it formats you should be good to go.

Photos have deleted themselves
THIS SOUNDS LIKE A MEMORY CARD PROBLEM. LOOK INTO THE SLOT WHERE THE CARD GOES AND CHECK THE PINS TO SEE IF THEY ARE ALL STRAIGHT AND EVEN. BE SURE THE CARD IS WELL SEATED WHEN YOU INSTALL IT AND THAT THE CARD ISN'T DAMAGED IN ANY WAY. TRY SWITCHING CARDS AND USE A DIFFERENT CARD TO SEE IF THIS STOPS THE PROBLEM. YOU CAN GET A CARD CHEAPLY ON EBAY OR AMAZON OR WAL-MART ETC. IT IS POSSIBLE THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE CARD THAT IS CAUSING THE MEMORY TO DROP. THIS IS USUALLY CAUSED BY SOME CHANGE IN CURRENT OR A SHORT. I WOULD TRY A DIFFERENT CARD. IT IS A EASY SOLUTION AND YOU CAN ALWAYS USE THE SPARE CARD. HOPE THIS HAS GIVEN YOU SOME HELP.
