Westinghouse 1080P 42" LCD TV - HDMI stopped working

My westinghouse 42" 1080P lcd hdmi ports just stopped working. I've tried plugging into different HDMI ports and none of them work.

This happened before and then it started to work again suddenly.

Sounds to me like you are trying to use a composite hookup or a generic HDMI cable. If you get the official Microsoft HDMI connector it also includes phono audio outputs and an optical audio out for 5.1 surround,

Lost audio on my Westinghouse TV ( TX- 42F810G ) Hdmi is hooked up correctly, have tried switching cables, reseting audio settings.. PLEASE HELP!?!?!?!
Did you go to HDMI setup and select ANALOG (VIDEO only sent through HDMI or Digital audio (Audio and Video are sent through HDMI) or AUTO? Check the setup of the TV and the source.

4 HDMI jacks, all stopped working at once
TV probably had a power surge, which distroyed the IC that handles the HDMI input multiplexor.

If restarting does not help I am afraid you'll have to change main board.

Board ID 48.70E01.01A or W421TAFX69 is what you are looking for.

Westinghouse 1080P 42" LCD TV - HDMI stopped working
I know this is late, but this happens frequently. If anyone else has the same problem try unplugging the TV for 60 seconds. Plug it back in and then hold the power button down for 30 seconds. That will reset the TV.
You should see the Westinghouse logo come up and the HDMI should work. This has happened twice with my TV in 1 year.

My 42" Westinghouse HDMI inputs just stopped working. I thought it was the TW Explorer 4250HDC issue so I got a new one from TW. Still said no signal from HDMI. So, I shut the TV down and pulled the power cord out of the back. I waited a few seconds and reconnected the pwr cord. The TV "re-booted" so to say and now the HDMI inputs work. I think TVTEK has the right idea that it is firmware/software related. In the mean time, you might want to give that a try.
