Can't send phone calls and can't send text messages. An message pops up saying status 254.

for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

Call bb from another phone.

Hi,the message that pops up saying "Network Service Unavailable" might be from the message settings not correctly set and it is unable to send messages.

You can go to the message setting options on the cell phone to confirm if it is rightly set.

To be sure, you can also use the sim card on another phone to confirm, by using the a friends phone to send a message.

If the message settings are correctly placed, the problem might be from the sim card. You willneed to contact Sim service center for help to rectify the problem for the Sim card..

to send video messages on phone, you will need to contact your service provider too assist you by given you settings to be able to send video messages to another phone..

Are the text messages in the que replies to messages sent to you, or new messages? If new, did you give them an address to send to?

I was able to fix this on my phone by turning it off and then on again. My model is sgh-a737.

as i think the MESSAGE CENTER NUMBER you must change by asking your network operator ...
1. call to customer care of ur network operator
2. ask for the message center number..
3. store it in it by going to message settings and message center number ..
then try your sms will start going..................

I have the same problem ...i usually just pull the battery and try sending it again..that usually fixes it.

I had the same problem. All you need to do is reset the phone settings :) Then it's back to normal.
