Lowes or Home Depot or Ace Hardware (I prefer the latter for more knowledgeable employees). If no hardware stores nearby, try Sears or Best Buy (you may need to ask more than one person, don't give up too easily). If visiting a hardware store, you may have to look in the 'roofing' screw bins or nearby to find the right size.
You might also look for TV mounting kits that have that size screw, but you'd probably pay much more than finding the screws alone at a hardware store.
Press the " i " ( INFO ) button on your remote control once or twice until you don't see the irritating display anymore =) It is just below number 7 button.

In the setup menu i believe it is called the "Reminder" if it is turned on it will always show you the channel or input, can't remember exactly where it is located but somewhere in the setup.
