Oour Machine (WD1238C front Loader) won't go past the last 10 mins of aany cycle. It stops and the onlt way to move it on is to restart the machine many times and eventually it finishes the wash cycle, Can you help

If it is a top loader, it is a problem with the safety switch on the lid lock.

If is is a front loader, you need a service call, it _may_ be the main board.

FWIW, Bush make radios and televisions so they are not so good at washing machines.

If the washing machine malfunctions or you need to stop the cycle and retrieve the clothing, you can force the door to unlock.

If it does not...

UNPLUG IT... Restart it on a spin cycle ... or regular
wash cycle...

The 5E error mean:
Pump won’t empty - not draining
As usual with these error codes for not draining the first thing to do is check the pump filter but, on Samsung washing machines, the drain pump itself is often faulty. You can find how to fix this problem on youtube, just text it "Samsung washing machine 5E error".

Hello sidneyskiss - From what you have described if only the normal cycle is working, then there seems to be a communication problem coming from the main control board or wiring failure. Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart washer. If it proves to be ineffective, I would suggest contacting a professional technician to move forward accurately.

I'm not saying you don't have a problem. But just to be clear. You do understand that the last minutes on these machines can vary. The machine senses certain conditions in clothing, water discharge, etc. So sometimes the "1 min left" indication can stretch into many minutes. In theory, at least, it's possible your machine just needs to be left alone until it finishes whatever it's doing. However, one would think that any issues not resolved in 10 - 20 min are an indication of a problem. So i guess that's my next question, did you wait long enough? Keep in mind i am not a kenmore expert.
