I was forced to print the California DMV booklet yesterday and it was 92 pages. After that the printer will not print. I have bought a new color cartridge as mine was low on ink but am hesitant to put it in the printer in case that does not fix the problem.
I put the CD in to reload the software but notice it is for windows up to 98 and I got XP on a computer a friend passed on to me. It has worked with that "new" computer, however, for three years without a problem.
What do I do? Suzanne G
Will it not print at all?
the software should be good w/ the XP install (seeing that the software is from around the Win 9X/20XX era)
right click on the printer icon right by your clock if it is there, if not, go to control panel (either by start menu or my computer) to printers see if the print job is still on or if you have recieved any errors concerning the print job
if you are not recieving errors, and the software is still good (XP version, not 98 version) then go to printers (same way as before) select properties and print test page...after you replace the ink
