If you are the legitimate owner of the Internet email IDs you think that someone is using them then

(1)Gather all the information that you can related with your hacked email account such as the answer to secret questions you gave in the online form while registering to the email service and any business transactions that you have performed. Keep the credit /debit cards at a reachable distance.

(2)Get Customer Service contact information (preferably on telephone) of the email provider (like Yahoo mail, hotmail, gmail etc) from an internet search engine like Google, MSN or Yahoo.

(3)Make sure you come in contact with a Live Customer Support Representative of the email provider.

(4)The representative will ask for information that would prove your ownership to the email provider. Make sure you are as accurate as possible.

Good Luck!

Get into my Emails they seem to be lost to me

First things first: you must gain access to your existing email account by typing that into the first open field. If your current password is refused when typed into the password field, you should be prompted to "reset password" or "forgot password?". Follow those prompts and reset your password to regain access to your existing emails. Once that account is opened you may then create a new and different email address from the account homepage. However, your present email address will still receive emails sent to that address. Only mail addressed to the new email address will be sent there. You can use one address for your primary or important mail and the other for personal mail.

Its not closed. Its just hacked. Please see if you can access the e-mail and change the password and security questions. So that no one can use it.

Someone is sending emails to all of my contacts and it is not me...how do I make this stop, short of closing my yahoo account... my email address is [email protected] if this cannot be...

Hi,

There are chances that someone has knows your password and is sending mails from your email id. Check your sent folder to find out if someone has sent mail from your email id.

Or

Someone is using spam email ( third party ) and enter your email id in from field and sending the mails.

Recently someone received an email that appeared to come from my email address but I did not send the email and no one has access to my computer other than me. Also I do not give my password to anyone....

Generally no! But are you sure someone did not see the passord you typed?

Check in the sent box of your account to see if there is a record of the mail being sent in the SENT BOX. If not then someone used your account elsewhere. Public PC's are often risky if you dont log out They also have key loggers on them put there by hackers to gain access to accounts of all kinds.

Change your password to a longer sequence and use ascii characters It makes it more diffoicult to crack

eg /mi*ke?>jones\

Lost my old acount information .will not let me access my email [email protected]

Do you remember the security question "Where did you spend your honeymoon?"?, if so you can retrieve the password. Open the yahoo mail login page and click "i can't access my account" select "my password doesn't work" enter you yahoo id and go ahead, an email with the password reset information will be sent to your alternate email address. If you can't remember the information, your only option is to write to the yahoo customer care using the "contact us" form. Good luck.

Lost password and email I had n email that I wrote back in 2006 and it was a sent email that had a very special poem on it. I accidentaly deleted it and need to get it back for work reasons. I need help...

The only way to get it back if it wasn't deleted already is to talk to someone who access to the server. Most companies automatically save copies of sent E-Mails for liability reasons.
