Perform a Factory Reset:
1) Plug unit into AC power, so that all the lights come on as mentioned.
2) Press and hold "MENU", "ENTER" and "INPUT" (all together) for at least 5 seconds. Error lights will clear.
3) Turn OFF by POWER button, wait a few seconds.
4) Turn power ON by pressing the POWER button.
The projector will turn ON, but will take a while (1-2 minutes) to load firmware.
5) Recommend to go into Menu and at the very bottom use the "restore all defaults"

I have just serviced a Casio projector similar to this unit. I cleaned the ribbon cable connectors with a burnishing brush. I also found two screws that were jammed between a circuit board and the optical block. After cleaning the connectors and removing those two screws the projector started working fine.

This is fairly uncommon for a repair, but it may be worth a try.

We had a projector in for repair with a similar if not the same problem. Casio said it was locked up and had to be reset internally. We had the temp and lamp lights blinking red and the power light was solid red no blinking. The unit would not power on. Would the above procedure work in this case or is there an actual internal reset that has to be done?

Why does red TEMP light come on after power up?

The fan is important. If it doesn't turn at the correct speed the red light will come on. Replace the fan and that will fix the problem Go to Casio's website to get the part or try here:

All the lights are on: power light, lamp light and temp light... How can I fix it?

If you have the manual you can look at the back for troubleshooting. The problem or solution will depend on if the lights are blinking and what color they are. The manual can be found here. You will want the basic operations manual.

I just had a XJ- S41 projector in for repair because it wouldn't power on. The power light was red solid but the temp and lamp lights were blinking red. Apparently a reset was needed, but I was told it was an internal reset that had to be done be a technician. I'm dubious of this info as I've seen some reset procedures listed on this site that may have worked, but I can't confirm as I sent it in. It cost $45 plus shipping to have Casio do this reset and there was nothing wrong with the projector or any parts replaced. Casio wouldn't tell me exactly what reset procedure was done and they will not let you speak with a technician or even try and get more info for you. Using their online repair service though was easy and swift. Just go to www.ecasiorepair.com.

WD-62525, continous amber lamp light. No picture. Lamp is good.

Hello:

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.

Operation lamp - amber light blinking

I do not know the solution to your problem but I can tell you that when the camera is working properly that amber light means the flash is chargeing or your camera is doing something like saveing a picture so if your battery is low your flash might not charge properly or your camera might have something wrong with is memory. Sorry i couldn't be a better help.Good luck!
