Color balance of video output

The color balance in the video output from my Sony DCR-PC100 is off, especially in green/yellow values. Color balance appears correct in the LCD screen, but is considerably off when viewed on tv or pc screen. I also notice a green/yellow coloration in the upper right portion on the playback monitor, which I've never seen before. Otherwise, the camera seems to be operating fine. Can this problem be corrected, and if so, what is the process and what is a ballpark estimate for repair?
Thank you

An estimate of repair is pointless it would cost less just to get a new camera.

Trying to connecting my Bose lifestyle to my Samsung led smart tv to play a DVD with a yellow video cord and picture is blurry and double and has jo color? Any ideas how to fix Bose lifestyle is older...

Without the specific LifeStyle model # it's not easy to say for sure, but it sounds like you might have a composite cable plugged into a component video output of the Bose. Assuming it does not have HDMI output, it might have white/red/yellow (RCA-type jacks, aka "phono") and that yellow jack is a composite video output. It would plug into the same color jack on the TV. There are also RGB (Red/Green/Blue) component outputs on many devices and similar inputs on the TV, so you have to match like color out to same color in and make sure the TV is set to composite video input, not HDMI nor component.

Also could just be a bad cable. It's always the cheap things that we overlook, so with the same output/input setup, assuming you match type, try a different cable. The actual color of the end on the cable does not matter, but don't plug a yellow-colored output jack to a red, white, blue or green input jack on the TV - that won't work.

Sony Trinitron's colors have turned green yellow

Only yellow color denotes the absence of Blue color. Check it. Check its video output card for any loose solder terminals at the blue color output section circuits.

Sony Wega model kv-32fs120. Color is all reds and blues, no greens or yellows. We have tried adjusting the hue as per the owner's manual and also the re-set but nothing changes.

The color of the television are compose of three color RED,GREEN and BLUE.So the lost color is the green. The problem is in the color section of the CRT board in the chroma section and in the CRT socket board.Maybe theres a loose connection in the PCB like the cathode output transistor.

Sony Bravia 40'' LCD 240Hz TV can't get video signal from DVD

Are you absolutely sure you have it wired up right? Are the Cable RIGHT wires color to color, is the "Correct Input" selected? Remember you do NOT use "Channels" but an AV, AUX, or External.input. Most DVD etc, use AV, IE: Yellow, (Video), Red, (Audio), White (Audio) for the OUT connections. These go color to color at TV end. And uses 3 Cables. The "Other" type of Output/Input is Component Video. This is ALL Video, Red, Blue, Green, these go color to color as well. BUT you MUST also send the Sound, Via the AV, IE: The Red & White, AV, Audio IN/OUT connections, So you in this case would have 5 cables/connections in all.

If you are not getting good color picture then I would advise to perform white balance adjustments in service data with help of concern service manual.
This kind of adjustments required service data handling tools, reference color charts, proper and up to date service manual etc.

Colorimetre HCFR software
AVC HD 709 calibration disk
Spyder2 colorimeter (I know most prefer the Eye-One meters, but the Spyder2 was available from my job at no cost)

Here are the settings:

PS3 Blu-Ray player

Output Format (HDMI): Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr (important!!! NOT RGB output)
BD 1080p 24hz Output (HDMI): On (this TV can reproduce video at 48hz for accurate 2:2 pulldown)
Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super White (HDMI): On (not sure if this matters)

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.
These settings will also work for Cable or Dish hookups, in which case you may change the Noise Reduction option to Medium to reduce signal noise.
