My kyocera printer km 1820 won't use paper on the loaded auto tray. It you press paper select - then auto - it asks for paper to be loaded on the MP tray. The local technician told me to press sustem menu, then commom setting, but messsage is Access is denied.

it sounds like the job is asking for that size paper delete the job or load the paper its asking for

Remove the cassette and remove any torn paper that may be stuck in the cassette port.

Kyocera and Copystar models are the same just replace KM with CS.

THe KM-1820 and CS-1820 are the same machines and this link is for the KM-1820.

Hello, The Kyocera KM-1820 does not support automatic duplexing (double-sided).If a double sided copy/print is required you would have to do it manually, print the first side, then flip the paper over and run it back through the printer again for the second side.

you need the program what came wiht the machine like the drivers in cd-rom,i dont remember the name, but must be some the name diferent of the driver. put in cd-rom is auto-instalation.

paper guide was set at A5, then this allowed menu to change feed tray selection

if you go into copy mode punch in 1087 1087 
press the green start button
punch in 906
press the green button 
select the option on the touch screen
press the green button
and wait until the machine reboots
this should fix any minor problems

Go to the setting and the change the first try paper size.
