Line, faults & possible causes to LCD screen are given with illustrations.
A vertical line could indicate a faulty lower scan (long skinny boards along the bottom of the set) board, a faulty lower scan connection to the screen or a bad screen altogether!
I have a similar problem. I have vertical colored lines in the middle and right side of the screen is black. Here is the photo. Do you guys think it is the T-con board?
hi..the probelm is due to the video circuit board.
only when you have a problem with the video
circuit board you will get such type of faults.so
you have to check the video board immediately.

This is a common problem with LCD screens. It is pixel line damage and the screen is permanently damaged and is not repairable. It will probably get worse. The only answer is to replace it
If the lines are thin and close together running horizontally, it may be the vertical driver, but that usually takes out the resistor and sometimes the diode in the B+ for the vert. Also you must replace the caps that caused the problem in the first place.
