Volume using remotes either ramps to max or all the way down

When using remotes, the volume will only ramp to max or to its lowest setting. The manual volume on the TV works like it should. I have removed batteries from the remotes and unplugged the TV for a time hoping that the problem would go away through a reset of sorts but that did not work. Do you have any ideas?

Safety concerns with car ramps.

Alot of people feel just a little bit uneasy when it come to getting under a car when on car ramps. A little trick is to drive the car on the ramps, put blocks, or wheel chucks behind the grounded tires. Then using a jack, jack one of the ramped tires up enough to remove its ramp. Reverse that ramp and then lower the vehicle down. It can't roll down the ramps because it is wheel locked inplace. Please though reverse that prcedure to drive it off the ramps.

Please note, I selected Chevy as the manufacturer only because 'any' is not an option

When my daughter goes down a ramp the wheelchair tilts forward and the back wheels are off the ground! Why is this happening?

ramp too steep and not made to a safety standard
person too high in chair
person too far forward in chair
front wheels not positioned far enough forward
carer not paying attention to the ramp and possible risks
talk with disability persons equipment retailers as they have a good idea of the risks involved with wheel chairs and can advise you on how to overcome the problem

The volume ramps to maximum. I can adjust it back

Sounds like the circuit board for the button keys in front has a shorted tactile switch causing sound to keep increasing, Replace all switches on this board or get new board. I believe it is called a HS board or very close to that.

My KDS-R60XBR1 turn up volume to maximum loud and stays loud

Question:
Take the batteries out of both the remotes and then try to turn the TV on with it's On/off switch built into the TV.
If it turns on and the volume stays the same, then it must be an issue with one of the remotes.
If the tv turns on and the volume ramps up to max. Please check if volume knobs/buttons on the tv itself to see if they are sticking.
If they aren't, there is something wrong with one of the boards in the tv of course. This sure should be something a Sony Service Shop can fix. I don't think it will be expensive. Maybe a $100 to $200 repair if they do the work.

Hitachi AX-M131U several weeks old, remote not controlling, on manual switch on the volume ramps to max, unable to reduce. Have tried reboot and holding on off button. Any advice???? Regards Geoff Law

This should still be under warranty. It sounds like the internal CPU is confused. This could be a simple power suplpy problem or something a bit more complex. Return it for warranty service.
