My HP laser jet P1005 cannot install with ACER Aspire windows 7 system but can install with another pc Vista system. why ? please help me, thanks

have a look at this link to see if you can get the drivers and software for your operating system as in

if you have vista then look for vista drivers or if you have xp look for xp drivers

i have an epson which is not supposed to be compatible with windows 7 so i contacted epson and they gave me instructions how to use with windows 7 and all is well

The USB cable may be faulty, try a different USB printer cable.

You probably can install Windows 7. You will have to go to Acer's site to get any special drivers, But to start, just insert the system disk and do a fresh install.

There might be a hardware compatibility problem with Windows 7 and the microphone driver. The following two web sites might offer information that can better help to find a possible solution.

1). The Microsoft Windows 7 Hardware Compatibility List. It can only be viewed with Internet Explorer.

2). The Acer support Windows 7 eligible systems link shows all the acer computers that are fully compatible with windows 7. (Acer Aspire 5315 is NOT in this list !):

if you go to the acer website there are a set of updated vista drivers install these and it sorts the display out.i have updated to windows 7 today downloaded all the vista drivers everything is fine except i am having problems with the soundcard any help on that would be appreciated

CD you are taking about drive to install did you know you can instal from safe mode try it and if no work come back here
