Just bought an 88hl. I know nothing about it other than it seems to be stuck on PA and when I key the mike it plays a song. It has been modified and has a switch on the side of it . Does not seem to be transmitting or recieveing. Any suggestions? If you are on 2 meter radio my call sign is KD0NDY out of washington Missouri 147.240

My best advice is pull the glove box cover open a small amount take a small flat head screw driver and try to reach in and release the latch good Luck let me know Mike L.

hello remove both panels from radio look at the circuit board check for dry joint at the pa transistor resolder if necessary check for lose or corroded wirering along the board its something very small thats causing this the above method just might sort it goodluck

If its a USB stick you can right click on it and select send to, where the usb divice should appear. Alternitavly you can copy and past.

After a long use, some keys get stuck i.e. it seems normal but the button under the key remain in contact. Your problem seems like this. Try to open the key board and check the button. It may solve your problem.

See try to restart your pc and then connect it to real player and put the songs via real player it's very easy and will work for you

Try running a temporary wire for grounding.

If you have a receipt for it and you had it less than 2 years it can go to Galaxy in Calif. if is defective. Just go the the Galaxy tech support webpage and follow the directions for an RA #. They do good work. If you want to send it to a top notch repair shop try Dons CB in PA. They are a real Galaxy warranty service center. The # is 814-898-1046

Green and orange?? Sounds like you need to restore your iPod.
Understand this: iTunes plays what is on the computer, NOT the iPod.

make sure that the trim (gain) isnt set too high on your keyboard's PA channel. it might just be clipping due to input levels that are too hot.

If you have a PA function on the radio does the mic put out audio, if it does this would rule out the mic
