The FK-150 fuser is the correct fuser for the FS-1028MFP, FS-1128MFP, FS1350DN, among others. The FK-170U fits the following Kyocera printers: FS-1035 Mfp, FS-1135 Mfp, FS-1370DN and FS-1120D. There are a few other printers. The design changes means they can't be substituted.
smb scanning? check to make sure host ip is conrrect as well as long in info and path to folder /email make sure smtp server address is correct along with login info and try port 587 if its set on 25 comcast tends to block 25 for smtp scanning
2102 is a scan error. it depends on what protocol you are using (SMB, SMTP, FTP?) but check the TCP/IP info for the copier and make sure the DNS servers are correct. Try using IP addresses instead of URLs or hostnames to eliminate DNS resolution issues. Check username and password for authentication processes. See the operations guide for details on setting up scan
That model should come with standard network connectivity. If, in fact, the usb port is out then you can connect the unit via ethernet on your LAN and regain your print and scan functions. Keep in mind that network scanning protocols (SMB, FTP, SMTP) require some IT knowledge to set up.
The KM-1820 to scan to PC is using SMB, FTP or e-mail.
for SMB: I am assuming you have the KM-1820 connected within the network and a static IP address for it. open any Internet browser and go to KM-1820's IP address. You should see the Command Centre web page. Go to Basic page and add/register a contact within the Address Book. Give a name and at the SMB section field, fill up with your computer hostname or the ip address of your computer where you want to scan. Fill up the user name with the local user name - the one what you are using to get into your computer - or create a new LOCAL user for your PC lets say "kyocera". So for SMB will be your computer and username: kyocera. (You will need a password for that computer user (kyocera) ). Then create a folder "scan" where you want ot receive the scanned files and add "scan" at the path field (SMB section of that webpage - command center). Now share the folder "scan" as "scan".
if you want you can always use the scan to e-mail !! but you need a smtp server. All the settings can be done using that command center webpage.
