Hi there and thanks for coming to FixYa.
To put the date and time stamp on the images do this:
1) Set the Mode dial to Setup.
2) Hit the Up arrow on the control button to Camera and hit the right arrow on the control button.
3) Select Date and Time with by hitting up or down arrow on the control button then press right on the control button.
4) Hit the conrol button up or down to select Date and Time, then press the center of the control button.
5) Return the Mode dial to the camera postion to start taking pictures.

,,,push the "square" button in the middle of the direction arrows.
..press the right arrow across untill you come to Date and Time
...press the down arrow to select the "set" and press the square button again
....use the up and down arrows to select the correct date
....use the right arrow button to set the month and day and so on.....
Also, if you don't want the time displayed on the picture, just select "no display".

SOURCE: Cannot turn date stamp off and date keeps resetting
Try removing battery from camera then wait 10 seconds before installing. This action resets camera.
If no work, locate your camera software version. Procedure should be in manual, else could probably find it in a google search. Then locate latest version with a google search, or panasonic camera website, or call to customer service and ask.
It you do not have latest version, ask customer service how to download it.

Can't set date on dmc-lz7 so that "after" each photo has been taken it appears on the photo? Simply walk me through the process please.
