I have this LG dehumidifier, which has been working great for two years. Suddenly it stopped depositing water. The motor will turn on, but it seems confused as to humidity levels and will not stay on for prolonged periods. Any idea? It is not ice on the coils and I have cleaned the filter and coils.
If everything is clean on the coils and the filter is clean it should work. I would contact LG because they have a 5 year warranty on these dehumidifiers. Make sure that you have your reciept. Usually what they will do is locate a shop near you and it can be serviced there. LG will pay the bill. Or if there is no local shop they will send you a service tag for your old unit and ship you a replacement unit. Contact LG and explain this problem to you. Everything should be covered under warranty still.

stopped depositing water in the water bin, will not adjust to humidity, comes up with lo moisture level. I cleaned the coils and filter, still not working
