Finding no manual for your unit...
(however... in a parallel universe)

Did locate an XOD1742bt... (see below link)

- Page 4 briefly mentions getting the "DRIVERS"
down-loaded

- Page 40 discusses how to use the feature.

No mention of any "CODE"

Sorry...

Features are seldom COMPLETELY different...

please adjust the Reed switch see the diagram, clean it the reed, and tight very well the plugs and clean it.

2) replace new batteries with the same type, and polarity

3)clean the terminal contacts battery with c. cleaner, and try again.

if the problem persist RUN the software calibration, go under the hood motor and see the instruction or your instr. manual for troubleshooting.

The reed switch is positioned close to the drive side of the machine, close to the black plastic pulley.
It should be as close as possible to the pulley without making contact.
Loosen the screw and slide the small black canister as close to the pulley as possible .
Also, check the wire to make sure it is not damaged, make sure it is plugged into the controller board securely.
If it does not read any speed after checking these suggestions, replace the reed switch..

A reed switch or in some cases a speed sensor is locate by the front roller/pulley it could cylindrical or square looking.First you need to unplug the unit, then remove motor shroud inspect the reed switch to pulley distance ( no more than 3 credit card thickness) also inspect the pulley to see if the magnet is still attached to it. make the necessary adjustment. plug in the unit start it up. If it give you the same code then replace reed switch!
