Whining noise after the flush is filled and the noise keeps on but if the macerator is given a gentle kick the noise stops! Do I need a new Macerator?

Check power steering fluid. "Whining" is too broad a term, sorry.

You need a plumber with experience with this type of toilet

Water pressure makes the unit kick on and off. If it's turning on by itself then most likely somehow water is draining back into the pump. It could be leaking water from the toilet tank, to the bowl and from the bowl to the pump. Or the check valve inside the discharge elbow may not be closing all the way down and is allowing waste water to drain back into the pump creating enough water pressure that makes the pump kick on and off. Inspect the flapper on the flush valve and the check valve on the discharge elbow on top of the macerating pump.

check level in tank may be to high and not shutting off valve /sticking fill valve /or flapper needs replacing

Either the condenser has blown and needs replacing or something is stopping the motor/pump from rotating

If there is a air emiten valve on vent ? Remove it than try to see if it works properly. If this works you will need pipe vent outside

the macerator is over heating.check the maintenance opening and clean it ,but you may need a more powerful macerator,some are made only for flushing systems (as in toilets) a pro-longed use may be making it overheat.. good luck

I believe you have a problem with a leak. The pump is filling back up. See is the water is leaking out somewhere. Hopefully, you don't have a leak under the house. The water coming into the pump is going somewhere when it comes on.
