Hi
according to the S/N, this notebok has several options for the display with webcam
HP p/n 535851-001 or 535852-001, 535853-001, 535854-001, or 535856-001
you need to take the upper logic top cover , remoce the screws that hold down the keyboard. disconnect the webcam connections and the LCD invereter connectio. Remove the hinges that attach the LCD to the top cover, remove the bezel from around the LCD panel. There will be or mya not be some screws to remove to the LCD from assembly top cover.
this is basically it.
if you need more information, let me know -- i can get some other assembly isntructions for you if required. But let me know which LCD p/n it is you require.

This is a PDF file.
(The computer you are using has Adobe Reader on it, which uses PDF files)
After you click on the above link it may take up to 30 seconds before you will see the first page.
It may also take additional time to fully download the file.
At the top of the PDF file is a page number box. It is to the right of the blue Down Arrow.
Go to Page 64.
Switch cover and keyboard
In case there is a problem with downloading the file;
With all computer repair remove ALL power before starting.
With a laptop remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.
Observe Anti-Static Precautions
Two sets of instructions depending upon if you have a 14 inch LCD screen, or a 15 inch.
14 Inch:
Laptop turned over on it's top, battery removed;
Looking at the outside edge on the Battery side, there is a Philips head screw to remove from each corner.
One to the right of the Left hinge, and one to the left of the Right hinge.
(Remember the laptop is upside down)
Down in the middle of the Battery compartment there are two screw covers to the right, and left outside edges.
The screw covers are of a rubber-like material, and can be easily removed with a pick.
(If you are careful with the sticky side of the covers you can reattach them)
There is a Philips head screw to remove under each cover (2)
In-between these two screws, and also in the middle are two more Philips head screws to remove.
They are a broadhead screw.
Removing these screws will loosen the Switch Cover. Carefully turn the laptop over, and once in it's normal position, open the laptop, and slide the Switch Cover back. (Towards the LCD screen. {Display Assembly)
Remove the Switch Cover.
(The Switch Cover is the plastic cover above the Keyboard, and under the Display Assembly.
The Power LED light/Power On button, and the Info Center/Quick Info LED light are located in the middle of the Switch Cover)
There are three Philips head screws to remove from the Keyboard.
One on the top left outside corner, one on the right top outside corner, and one on the top middle.
Slide the Keyboard back towards the Display Assembly, then rotate it forward.
(The top edge where the screws were is brought up, and rotated back towards the Touchpad.
You should be able to lay the key side on the Touchpad. Watch the flat cable though)
You will see a flat ribbon cable going from the Keyboard to the body of the laptop. (Motherboard actually)
This flat cable is a Flat Flex Cable.
FFC
The end attached to the Keyboard stays attached.
The other end which connects to the motherboard is connected to a ZIF connector.
Zero Insertion Force.
The FFC comes OUT of the connector. The connector stays put.
The end of the FFC has contacts for each wire.
These contacts on the Flat Flex Cable must line up with contacts in the ZIF connector, on the motherboard, when reinstalling.
Don't bend the cable, and make SURE the ZIF connector is open (Unlocked), before trying to remove it.
There are VERY thin tiny wires in the FFC.
The ZIF connector is two piece connector, BUT does not come all the way apart.
One 'half' slides up away from the other.
The top 'half'.
(The top part is not a halve. It is approximately 1/8th inch in width. Hence 'Half')
The ZIF connector is rectangular shaped. The top edge moves away, or unlocks from the bottom part.
The top part has two tabs on each side.
It is these tabs that you use a fingernail, or CAREFULLY use a small tool to ease the top part up.
It only slides up so far.
The FFC must go back into the ZIF connector in the same direction it came out.
Make a mark on the cable (FFC), and a matching mark on the laptop if you wish, Before removing it from the ZIF connector.
Match the FFC of the new Keyboard to the old Keyboard for orientation when reinstalling.
Apologize for the length, and hope I haven't digressed too much.

SOURCE: hp probook 4510s cannot get cd tray open
Maryar,
The tray may have got stuck. It happens. What you can do is look for a small hole on the face of the drive, either on the tray front or just below it. Insert a paper pin through it. The pin will press a lever which will open the tray. If you do it a few times the tray may get unstuck finally. Hopefully.
SOURCE: My HP ProBook 4510s will only get to the Windows
Hi,
When the system boots, press "F8" and get the OS boot options. Select 'Safe Mode' and boot your system.
Search for any errors once it is booted up in safe mode and reboot your PC.
Please come back and vote for me if this turns to be helpful for you.
Thnx
SOURCE: i can adjust screen brightness
Typically there are two ways: through the keyboard, usually a function button and brighter or darker button, and 2nd in the power settings. Lower screen brightness gives much longer battery life.
