KDL-46V3000 no picture when I turned it on. can lamp be replaced?

Main System Board is faulty.

The reason your television is having distorted vision and screen going black with sound is because there is a problem inside the unit. This problem could be caused by either a bad lamp or a faulty t-com board.

My best bet is the lamp, because it is when the lamp start developing any fault it begins the distorted screen thing and coming up black.

What you hsve to do is to get a replacement lamp, open up the television and replace the lamp with a new one, after doing that your television will be in good condition once again.

Symptom shows tv needs lamp replacement as existing lamp got weak and causing problem.
Did you replaced lamp in last 2-3 years? If not, then its time to replace it to get tv fixed.

There is no problem. Just adjust the picture by moving it up and down with the help of remote control. It is a small button in the center of top row of buttons ( Left of Green switch on/off button). Then adjusting with the up and down cursor buttons.

This also happened to me and may continue to get worse... If it goes away for a while after warming up, then it is the same problem... The LCD panel is probably going out, when that happens the cost to repair it is more than the tv is worth... If it is in warranty then you can have it replaced or fixed.

It is time to change the lamp. See your operating manual for instructions how to do it.

Check filter caps in power supply.
