Turn Camera Off error message

If anyone can help. My FZ3 has recently started giving the error message:
"Please Turn Camera Off and Then On Again". Once this comes on the display screen, cannot proceed without turning off/on. Not sure of the issue, but camera has not been dropped, etc. Thanks in advance.

Panasonic DMC-FX35 error message

Sounds as if it has either received a knock, or foreign matter (grit etc) has got into the lens mechanism.

Lumix TZ3 keeps giving the same error message: "Please turn camera off and then on again"

sorry to tell you guys this but you definetly have lens faults, for you firwol i can say that you have a focus lens or image stabilizer fault, bob80 sand can definetly mess your lens around and is going to need a service. you can check the error codes. you need to do exactly what i say. turn camera off, mode switch to red camera selection, this has to be done quick, turn camera on holding the ois+ arrow up button, then quickly hold ois+menu+arrow left. post the error then i will tell you what is wrong.

Nikon S1 memory problem

Just so you know, I have this problem also. Anyway, the only thing that works for me is to turn the camera on WITHOUT the card inserted, then insert the card. After this, it will let me take ONE photo, video, or noise clip before it gives me the error again (strangely enough, I just figured out this solution a couple hours ago as I was browsing a listing for a similarly infected camera on eBay).
For a permanent fix, the "cheap camera repair man" can repair both the menus and the error for 55 bucks on his website (DynamicCamera.com).

"Turn the power off and on again" error message

You probably have a defective lens assy. When turned on lens has to move to certain position but because of broken gear or some mechanical problem it can not perform that funtion. Remedy is to disassemble the lens assy and repair the problem. Many time the whole lens assy are replace to repair the problem. normal repair charges for this kind problem is $125-200 in US depending on parts use.
