Kyocera and Copystar models are the same just replace KM with CS.

If the wire is the main charge (carona) wire then it can be replaced.

If it is a wire from a harness then it can not be ordered and replaced.

there is no C400 code, but there is a C4000 and its a pretty common code on these boxes. it's pointing to your laser unit. definetly not easy to get to. you will have to have laser unit replaced or sometimes i have had luck pulling out laser, pulling polygon mirror out and lubricating the shaft. that only works about 50-60% of time however and if you are paying a tech to do this work, you may just want to replace it as it is fairly time consuming to get laser out.

yes you can !
turn OFF the copier and unplug the power cord and the network cables!! Take off the scanner board - there is a jumper to reset the scanning system to default factory settings. Install the scanning system and power the copier. Wait till is Ready to Copy + 2 minutes. turn OFF and unplug the power cable, restore the jumper on the scanning system board. Put it back and power up.
