Question about Asko W6021 Front Load Washer
Welcome to FixYa.
Have you checked the pump to insure the filter isn't clogged or debris causing the noise ? Or do you know where it is and how to check it ? In the event the washer can't drain sufficiently it will not spin properly either. This is by design, but it's easy to confirm or dismiss.
Check as follows... **Unplug the unit from the dryer or the wall which ever scenario applies to your set-up, or turn off the breaker at the home service panel...safety first**
Remove the lower panel with two screws and then you'll see the pump filter/insert as shown here...
Once here, twist the filter out ( make sure you've got some towels, a wet/dry shop-vac or a drain in the floor close by as there WILL be water present ) and check the filter, pump, and hoses to the pump, drain etc. thoroughly for debris.
The filter should look like this...
Let me know if any of this isn't clear and I'll attempt to help you move forward. Once you've cleared the pump filter or ruled out it was indeed blocked or not, you can now try a short spin/drain cycle to listen for whether the noise is still present.
Let me know how you make out. Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck. Please take a moment to rate the info provided for you here today at FixYa.
