If it is making a lot of noise then your compressor is going out, if it is full of dirt dust or debree vacume it, or if you have a air compressor, then blow it out, but unplug your fridge to let the compressor cool down, if it is cold outside and you can wheel it there with no problem then you can clean it . you might have a freon leak or a stuck valve let it get cooled off and try again

My refridge is leaking a little bit out the bottom .No hose lines are leaking. What could it be?

as a general rule for refrigerators with top freezer compartments, if you have water
leaking under fridge it usually is the drain line exiting the freezer compartment.
This is accessed by removing (usually 4) screws on the back panel and pulling
the panel forward and unplugging the fan, sometimes it is necessary to remove the
fan seperately and carefully unplug the fan.
in the center there will be a hole exiting the freezer, sometimes with an aluminum
wire in it to help keep the hole de iced. clean this hole out and squirt a turkey
baster or two of hot water in to check drainage. listen for the trickle under the fridge.
Remember to pull crisper drawers out and remove water as it has accumulated below.
If the temp control assembly
goes all the way to the back of the fridge, it may also have a
built in cup which clogs. It detaches by removing 4 screws and pull forward and
down then unplug the unit and slide out. Make sure to unplug unit before servicing.

Woke up this morning neither the freezer or the refridge was working the inside lights are on it is old model ET18MK Probably time for a new one unless it is an inexpensive fix let me know

unfortunately most possibly it is problem with compressor which replacement is costly. sometimes it is only the auto switch situated on top or side of the compressor.

Side by side refridge was dirty and I cleaned

I would pull the refrig out , and remove the back panel , covering the compressor and fan motor . Check to see if the fan is working . Fan not working , causes the divider panel , to get very hot . Also , fan not working , causes the compressor to over heat and cut off on the overload .

Water is pooling in refrigerator

Hi, The defrost drain behind the rear freezer panel is plugged. Remove the rear panel and clear the ice away from the drain. Then you will need to flush the drain hole with hot water to make sure it is open.
Some models require an after market drain heat kit.
Please get me your model # and I can look this up to let you know if you need that heat kit.

Thanks

Need to remove the big piece of sheet metal on whirpool refridg

the rear panel is not removable. you need to clean the drain from inside the freezer compartment.
  • 1 remove food from freezer
  • 2 remove shelving and icemaker if equipped
  • 3 remover rear access cover in freezer usually 2 or 3 screw
  • 4 clean ice out from underneath the coil you will uncover the drain hole
  • 5 force hot water thru drain hole i use a turkey baster or large syringe
  • 6 reassemble in reverse order.
if you have any further questions please ask here and I'll be glad to assist any way I can. thanks Peyton

KitchenAid KSBP25FKSS Side by Side Refrigerator Ice & water dispenser ondoor not working

I had the same problem and had to have the entire door replaced. I thought it was a random thing since sometimes it would just start working again, but finally it just stopped for good. The wires that
are below the door on the left hand side (you can see them better when the lower front piece is removed) were severed and they can't be put back together without replacing the door. My repair guy (the refrig. was still under warranty) told me it was a design or installation defect and that he has seen it time and again. Evidently, when they install the wiring, they don't leave enough room to stuff the wires out of the way of the closing door and eventually, it severs them over time.

Frigidaire refrigerator leaking water inside refrigerator

There is a plastic panel inside the frigidaire looking at the underside of the freezer inside the refrigerator compartment which holds the thermostate dial and the light fixture. remove the four 1/4 in hex head screws holding the assembly. pull the panel toward the front. you will expose the drain hose connection you can let it dangle from the plug wires or remove the panel completely, I worked with mine in place. look at the back funnel shape drain. just in front of that see a rectangular styroform collar which should be snug fit to match the underside. clean and dry all. there is a divider between the two funnel compartments, mine was separated between the plastic and the styroform. I used kitchen and bath tub caulking to seal the gap. and a little around the rectangle shape that fits to the underside. plug the wire back in if disconnected. reassemble the panel. that may fix it. good luck.
